Starting to Blog....

I decided that I wanted to start a blog because I recently was blogging from Australia and found it to be a very interesting and theraputic thing. There is something to knowing that you can blow off steam or tell the world about an awesome day that you had so easily. Also, let's be real... everyone likes to talk about themselves, and at least this way your friends only have to listen (or read) if they want to.

While my life isn't all the interesting or exciting at the moment, I am student teaching and end up with some pretty funny stories. This will be a way for me to remember all of those funny things that are happening. It's kind of like a really cool, elaborate diary. I'm sure you all know what blogging is. Not sure why I feel the need to analyze.

Well, I did recently come home early from a trip to Australia. I was supposed to student teach there for 8 weeks, but decided to come home early. While I am sure that this is disputable, I really feel like I made the right decision. I am so lucky that school is still working out and I will be able to graduate officially in May. I am VERY happy... for anyone who is having thoughts about this. So so so happy with my decision!

Also, I am currently looking for jobs in the Chicago area, as well as in the Northern Indiana area. I really would love to get settled into a job that I love in the Chicago area, because it seems like that is where my future is headed. I have never really had too much of a strong opinion on where I live and work, as long as there are people I'm close to in that location. Relationships are probably the most important thing to me, so new places are fine as long as I have some people from home that I am comfortable with. Roger, my boyfriend, is currently working in Chicago and looking for apartments. Also, both of my sisters, Kelly and Brady, are going to be in the Chicago area for the next couple of years (at least) and the three of us have discussed living together for a year. I would LOVE to do that. We already know that we can live together, and let's be real, as lame as it is, my sisters are two of my best friends. It would be a blast. Not only would it be awesome to get a job and be able to live with them, but I would be settled in and able to move in with Roger when the time came for that hoop-la. It seems like that time might be quickly approaching. We shall see. Plans are fun. Looking forward to the future is fun. But being happy right now is the best!

So, to sum up...

Even though my life might not be the most exciting thing in the world at this very moment, I have a feeling that there are some very fun and exciting changes coming. With this fun little blog I will be able to remember it for myself, and update anyone who cares. Isn't technology great?
